Techart is no stranger when it comes to tuning Porsches and is now offering a full range of mods for the Cayenne, including body kits, interior packages, and of course power upgrades.

The tuning company’s latest product is the available Powerkit for the Cayenne GTS, which boosts engine output from its original 454 HP (460 PS) and 457 lb-ft (620 Nm) of torque to 631 HP (640 PS) and 641 lb-ft (870 Nm), an increase of 177 HP (180 PS) and 184 lb-ft (250 Nm) over the standard model.

This enables the Techart-tuned Cayenne GTS to do the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 3.6 seconds (down from 4.5) and reach a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h), 19 mph more than the stock GTS.

Aside from the Cayenne GTS, Techart offers engine tuning packages for every model in the Cayenne range, including the base and S models, the E-Hybrid and the Turbo. Moreover, Techart can upgrade the Turbo S E-Hybrid to a stunning 740 HP (750 PS) and 760 lb-ft (1,030 Nm) of torque.

Porsche Cayenne SUV and Coupe owners can also choose from a wide range of Aerokit body styling options; Techart offers a new aerodynamic hood made out of carbon fiber, a front lip for the bumper, an add-on lip for the rear roof spoiler, a new rear apron with a diffuser and more. The tuner offers its Aerokit accessories for all Cayenne models with a towbar system, as well as all US-spec models.

There’s also an extensive range of wheels, ranging from classic designs to more aggressive-styled ones, depending on your taste. Techart can even add decorative accents in your preferred color for your new wheels.

The rims are forged and can reach up to 23 inches in diameter, offering plenty of different finishes and color combos. The aftermarket wheels can be combined with spacers from the tuning company, as well as painted brake calipers. Models without an air suspension can also be fitted with Techart’s sport springs which lower the ride height by 35 mm.

As for those who want a custom feel inside their Cayenne, Techart offers a virtually limitless range of leather options, bespoke steering wheels, painted segments, carbon fiber trims, matching pipings, stitching, and perforations, as well as the option for natural virgin wool to those who want something different than leather.

日媒稱三菱 EVO 復活後,將成為電動跑旅,並釋出外觀預想圖。

根據日媒《Response》報導,Mitsubishi 將重新復活 EVO 招牌,並且以電動 SUV 的形式推出,並以 2017 年東京車展發表的 e-Evolution Concept 為基礎打造,從外觀預想圖來看,融合大量新 Eclipse Cross 的設計風格。

新車採用分離式頭燈組,配合大面積的水箱護罩,車頭維持 Dynamic Shield 設計理念,前保桿造型更具攻擊性,整體的身形明顯朝向跑格化發展,從 C 柱開始大幅度向下傾斜,整體就像是挑高版的轎跑車。

未來新的 EVO 跑旅車將以 2017 年東京車展發表的 e-Evolution Concept 為基礎打造。

說起 Mitsubishi EVO 傳奇,曾經在車壇創下不少輝煌事蹟,但無奈受到用車習慣改變,十代 Lancer EVO 於 2015 年走向停產,而未來新的 EVO 跑旅車,將會搖身一變成為 EV 純電動立,搭配上全時四輪驅動系統。

搭載三具電動馬達,預期最大續航里程能有 500 公里。

日媒釋出的消息指出,未來新的 EVO 跑旅車會採用三具電動馬達,目前具體的輸出性能尚未有明確消息,不過最大續航里程有望達 500 公里,並擁有強悍的地形征服能力,有望在明年秋季左右發表亮相。

TVR first announced that the new Griffith was due in 2019. Then they moved its launch to 2020. Now, though, its plant is getting some much needed renovations, which are expected to start in January 2021.

The update come thanks to an agreement with the Welsh government, where the plant is located. According to Autocar, the work will include replacing the the roof, recladding the structure, some groundwork, and prepare a prototype build area for the Griffith.

Initially, around 80 people will be employed at the Ebbw Vale plant, according to TVR chairman, Les Edgar. TVR Automotive hopes to employ up to 200 people when production is fully ramped up.

“This is a fantastic milestone in our mission to rejuvenate an iconic British brand, and we are all tremendously excited to witness the renovation of our new home,” Edgar told the British outlet. “We have hundreds of faithful depositors worldwide who are patiently waiting to take delivery of their Griffiths, so today I hope they are just as delighted as we are.”

The updates have been in the works since March, when TVR’s new CEO, Jim Berriman, took over. Berriman previously worked with the Rover Group and was instrumental in the launch of the Mk3 Range Rover.

The factory updates are part of an 18-month plan set out by the new CEO in July. The plan also includes a motorsport program and a production capacity of 2,000 units per year.

The Griffith is the car that will relaunch TVR, a historic British sports car marque. It has also been called a cursed company thanks to its repeated financial issues and ownership changes over the years. It was first revealed at Goodwood in 2017 and will be powered by a Ford 5.0-liter V8 making around 500 hp.

According to TVR, it has taken around 500 reservations for the car already, with the initial Launch Edition variant already sold out.
