昨日 (1/7) Mitsubishi總代理中華汽車發表小改款Eclipse Cross,同一時間Škoda Taiwan也推出以黑熊特仕版包裝的2021年式Karoq,並將售價調降到99.9~119.9萬元之間,剛好與簡化為兩款車型的小改款Eclipse Cross重疊,意外讓人嗅到隔空較勁的意味。

其實近幾年開始,原本以中型及小型為主的國內休旅市場逐漸發展出新級距且越來越熱絡,無論車身尺碼、價格帶都介於中型休旅及小休旅之間,而這樣的現象雖然可以追溯到2017年發表的Toyota C-HR,但實際帶起這股風潮、劃分出新級距的應該是定位比Toyota C-HR更加鮮明的Mazda CX-30,隨後Volkswagen也跟上腳步在T-Cross與Tiguan之間補上T-Roc,Škoda Karoq則因為Kamiq的加入,成為定位接近於CX-30的同級對手。

除了上述車款之外,如果以尺碼、價位來區分,去年底剛上市的新世代Peugeot 2008小改款Subaru XV同樣算是落在該級距範疇內,雖然2008的頂規GT Cielo車型已經跨過120萬門檻,但全車系價格分布仍有重疊,入門Active車型的售價更是壓在百萬以內,起跳價僅次於Mazda CX-30、Toyota C-HR;而Subaru XV在改款之後依舊維持兩款車型編成,但售價調漲到105.8萬元、109.8萬元,剛好銜接到2021年式Forester取消2.0i-L、2.0i-S車型後所遺留下來的價格帶。

就車身尺碼來看,除了Volkswagen T-Roc跟Škoda Kamiq相近,其他車款的車長均有超過4米3,軸距也都設定在2米6以上,其中與同門Outlander共用底盤平台的Eclipse Cross,車長與軸距更達到4,545mm、2,670mm,其次則是由Impreza五門掀背車跨界而來的Subaru XV,車長與軸距也分別達到4,485mm、2,665mm。值得注意的是,Mazda CX-30、Peugeot 2008、Volkswagen T-Roc及Toyota C-HR,為了追求流線外型刻意將車高降低至1米6以內,雖然多少會影響到車內空間表現,但相對較低的車身重心有利於操控,習慣房車高度的駕駛比較容易上手,進出機械式停車位也不太需要擔心限高問題。

動力配置上,該級距車款大多以小排氣量渦輪引擎為主,如Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross、同集團的Škoda Karoq及Volkswagen T-Roc 280 TSI車型均搭載1.5升直列四缸渦輪引擎,Peugeot 2008與Toyota C-HR則是搭載排氣量稅制最低的1.2升渦輪汽油引擎,但前者引擎型式為直列三缸,並分成130匹/23.5公斤米、155匹/24.5公斤米兩種輸出設定,後者引擎型式雖然為直列四缸,不過只有116匹/18.9公斤米一種輸出設定。

Škoda Karoq及Volkswagen T-Roc280 TSI車型均搭載全新1.5升直列四缸渦輪引擎,最大輸出設定在150匹/25.5公斤米。

新世代Peugeot 2008統一搭載1.2升直列三缸渦輪引擎,並分成130匹/23.5公斤米、155匹/24.5公斤米兩種輸出設定。

至於堅持搭載自然進氣引擎的Mazda CX-30、Subaru XV,排氣量一樣為2.0升,並輔以缸內直噴技術,儘管欠缺渦輪增壓來強化動力,但仍可繳出165匹/21.7公斤米、156匹/20公斤米,跟小排氣量渦輪引擎相比並不算遜色。比較特別的是,Volkswagen T-Roc除了1.5升直列四缸渦輪引擎,另外還有一款搭載2.0升直列四缸渦輪引擎的330 TSI R-Line Performance車型,其最大輸出可達190匹/32.6公斤米,輔以7速雙離合器變速箱與四輪傳動系統,原廠公布0-100km/h加速只要7.2秒。

不過或許是不想跟T-Roc硬碰硬,原本也採相同動力規劃的Škoda Karoq,進入到2021年式之後已經取消搭載該動力的2.0 TSI Sportline車型,目前三款車型清一色搭載1.5升直列四缸渦輪引擎,價格帶也下修到120萬以內。

2021年式Karoq已經取消搭載2.0升渦輪動力的2.0 TSI Sportline車型。

簡單來說,在休旅當道的趨勢下,小休旅與中型休旅的競爭已經進入到白熱化階段,想要從中脫穎而出勢必得另闢新戰場,包括7人座休旅、跨界跑旅都是休旅市場細分下的產物,因此如果不想屈就於空間有限的小休旅,或是認為中型休旅太大,擔心不夠靈活好上手的話,其實可以選擇介於小休旅與中型休旅之間的上述車款,而且價格從不到90萬到130萬以上都有,涵蓋的範圍相對較廣,預算也比較好拿捏,至於詳細的車型比較,就請花點時間好好研究一下吧!

If anything, Osprey Custom Cars’ custom builds are some of the best money can buy.

Despite looking like a well-preserved classic Land Rover Defender 90, this one was built from the ground up. It sports a modern chassis with suspension and brake upgrades, skid plates, steel bumpers and Kahn 18-inch alloy wheels shod in chunky off-road rubber.

Finished in Santorini Black, it features LED headlights and DRLs in the front bumper, a full-size spare at the back, a canvas soft top and a satin black powder-coated roll bar. There’s also a new front grille and a Puma-spec bonnet.

This Defender is powered by a 5.3-liter LS V8 that produces 325 horsepower and 330 pound-feet (447 Nm) of torque, driving all four wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission with transfer case.

Inside, there’s black leather upholstery, heated front seats, four inward-facing jump seats in the load area, air conditioning, 7-inch infotainment system from Alpine with Bluetooth, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, reversing camera, power windows, JL audio, LED ambient lighting, Momo steering wheel and a TDCI-spec dash with stock gauges.

Custom Defenders do not come cheap, though, and this Defender 90 will set you back almost $130,000. The new-gen model, on the other hand, starts from $46,100 in the U.S. – but we guess that’s comparing apples to oranges.

Following the introduction of the new electric-only 500 and the updated Tipo and Panda, Fiat has revealed the refreshed 500 range for the 2021 model year in Europe.

However, don’t expect any major changes as the Fiat 500, 500X, and 500L have been updated with just new trim levels and new color options.

For 2021, the Fiat 500 model family is available in five new trim levels: Cult, Connect, Cross, Sport and the Dolcevita.

2021 Fiat 500L Cult

The Cult is the entry-level grade but it features a new, exclusive ‘Sicilian Orange’ livery paired with new blue fabric upholstery options embellished with the ‘Fiat’ monogram and a ‘Techno Blue’ dashboard trim.

The new Connect trim targets customers who ‘want to stay connected at all times’, featuring a 7-inch Uconnect infotainment system with DAB radio, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto as standar, while a new matte silver dashboard trim is paired with also new ‘Flashy’ seats. The 500 Connect hatch also comes with cruise control, a sports steering wheel, 15-inch alloy wheels as standard, and is finished in the new Perbene Grey/ Vesuvius Black two-tone livery.

2021 Fiat 500 Dolcevita

Fiat’s new Dolcevita trim is exclusive to the 500 hatch and pays tribute to Italy’s economic boom between the late 1950s and early 1960s. The interior features a new body-color surround along with chrome-plated details, a glass sunroof, and optional two-tone paintwork.

The 2021 500X Cross features new seats with a camouflage pattern and vinyl inserts, 19-inch alloy wheels, roof rack, and automatic air-conditioning as standard. The 500L is also available in the Cross trim, adopting the same crossover look and offering a camouflage-motif interior, 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic air-conditioning, and rear parking sensors among others.

2021 Fiat 500 Family in Sport trim

At the top of the range sits the Sport grade, offering a unique look with more aggressive detailing. The 500 Sport features specific bumpers, side skirts, a rear spoiler, and 16-inch alloy wheels, paired with new black fabric sports seats with red 500 logos, a new matt titanium dashboard, and more. Similarly the 2021 500X and 500L Sport feature a more aggressive exterior look, Black Technoprene interior, ambient lighting, Autonomous City Brake, and tinted windows as standard.

The 2021 Fiat 500 is available in Europe with two engine options: a mild-hybrid 69HP 1.0-liter petrol and a 68HP 1.2-liter LPG unit. The range of the 500X includes two petrol engines, a 1.0-liter with 118 HP and 1.3-liter with 148 HP, and two diesel options, a 1.3-liter with 94 HP and a 1.6-liter with 118 HP. Finally, the 2021 500L is available with either a 94 HP 1.4-liter petrol or a 94 HP 1.3-liter diesel.
