The Koenigsegg Regera is a pretty remarkable car and later this month, one example will head to the auction block for the very first time.

Koenigsegg has built just 80 examples of the Regera since 2016 and while this listing doesn’t state what number this Regera is, it does state that it is the 175th Koenigsegg chassis produced and is a U.S.-spec model.

The car was delivered new to Lake Forest Sports Cars of Chicago, Illinois and is clad in Crystal White with the available ‘Speedster’ graphics package that includes various 24 karat gold leaf accents across the hood, roof, front splitter, and side skirts. Another expensive option includes Koenigsegg’s innovative Aircore carbon fiber wheels. All up, RM Sotheby’s says this Regera has over $217,000 worth of options.

In July 2020, the bodywork was covered with a clear bra from Protective Film Solutions in California to ensure it looks as good as new for many years to come.

The interior is just as special as the exterior. Most of the surfaces are clad in a mixture of gloss and matte carbon fiber, while soft brown leather covers the seats, center console, door panels, and steering wheel.

Like all other Regeras, itis powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 that works alongside three electric motors to produce a combined 1,500 hp and 1,475 lb-ft (2,000 Nm) of torque. The Swedish hypercar also lacks a traditional transmission and uses Koenigsegg’s direct drive system instead.

The teaser campaign for the Hyundai Kona N is kicking into high gear as the company has released new pictures and details about the upcoming model.

Billed as a “hot SUV,” the Kona N will become the brand’s first high-performance crossover.

Hyundai is keeping specifications under wraps, but confirmed the model will have a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that can be connected to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The company also promised a “variety of high-performance driving features, such as Launch Control, and an emotional sound experience.”

While crossovers aren’t particularly sporty, Hyundai said the Kona N will have a “powerful and nimble driving experience.” Hyundai’s Head of N Brand Management also added, “As a ‘hot SUV’, it will have plenty of versatility as well as the driving pleasure like any other N vehicle.”

Additional information will be released in the “coming weeks,” but the Kona N is slated to have a sportier exterior as previewed by these official photos. While there isn’t much to see, the model will be distinguished by modified bumpers and a unique dual exhaust system. We can also see lightweight wheels that are backed up by a high-performance braking system with red calipers.

Hyundai is staying tight-lipped on specifics, but the model will slot above the Kona N Line which has a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder that produces 195 hp (146 kW / 198 PS) and 195 lb-ft (265 Nm) of torque.  Besides having a larger displacement, the fully fledged N model could have up to 275 hp (205 kW / 279 PS).

One of the earliest, and rarest, Ferrari road cars will be auctioned off later this month and is expected to sell for between $2.4 million and $3.4 million.

The car in question is a 1954 375 America by Vignale. Ferrari only ever built 11 Coupes and 1 Cabriolet, and of these, just three were sent to Carrozzeria Vignale to be outfitted with the bespoke bodywork brandished by this car.

As outlined by RM Sotheby’s, Vignale worked its magic on the 375 America, making it look quite different than the standard models designed by Pininfarina. As such, the car features a large wraparound rear window and a fastback profile. There are also exposed side-exit exhaust pipes and louvers behind the side windows. This car is chassis no. 0327 AL and was one of just two 375 Americas to receive this design, while the other remaining 375 America from Vignale had a slightly different styling.

Throughout its long life, the car has passed through the hands of various owners. It was originally owned by a U.S. collector and repainted red with a black roof. In 1980, it was sold to Ed Jurist in New York before being owned, in the following years, by individuals in New Hampshire, Arizona, and the Netherland . In 2009, the car returned to the United States and was refurbished and repainted in the current combination of burgundy with silver accents.

The listing fails to mention how many miles the car has on the clock but it will no doubt attract quite a lot of interest.
