隨著小改款 E-Class 在 2020 年 10 月份推出,台灣賓士也很快速地在 11 月 6 日,在國內市場發表了隸屬於小改款世代的 Mercedes-AMG E 63 4Matic+,售價則是較小改款前略漲,來到 712 萬元之譜;主要差異在於導入了 Mercedes-Benz 自家新穎科技,包含了 MBUX 車載系統、標配 Burmester 音響系統、AMG 高性能煞車系統等,動力數據則維持在 571 匹最大馬力的設定,從靜止加速到時速 100 公里,僅需 3.5 秒即可完成。

台灣賓士於 11 月 6 日,正式於國內發表小改款的 Mercedes-AMG E 63 4Matic+,相比於小改款前版本,主要差異在於導入了 MBUX 車載系統,以及標配 Burmester 音響系統。

隸屬於 W213 世代小改款的 E-Class,外觀上最大的改變集中在頭尾造型設計,包含了水箱護罩、頭尾燈組等處,都是小改款的辨識重點所在,而作為性能代表的 Mercedes-AMG E-Class,同樣也是採用了相同設計元素,但直柵式的水箱護罩飾條、AMG 銘牌,與 E 53 4Matic+相同,成為 Mercedes-AMG 性能成員的特徵;但在下緣處採用銘為 Jetwing 的前保桿設計,搭配兩側加大進氣口及橫條隔欄設計,有助於引導空氣流動,優化車輛高速行駛時的空氣力學,同時也更顯其性能張力,也是與 E 53 4Matic+的重要區隔。

小改款 E 63 4Matic+車頭下緣採用了 Jetwing 前保桿設計,搭配兩側加大進氣口及橫條隔欄,除了造型上更顯性能質感之外,更重要的也是有助於空力表現。

車尾造型部分,最能吸引目光焦點的同樣是尾燈樣式,有如魚鱗般的狹長設計,展現了濃郁科技感,而 E 63 4Matic+的專屬部分,包含了能提供一定下壓力與穩定車尾氣流的 AMG 方形後擾流翼,底部採用四出的方形尾飾管和優雅的亮黑飾條,搭配奪目的擾流鰭片,形成強烈的視覺效果,也同樣在空力效益上有所提振。

車尾除了小改款換上的魚鱗狀燈組之外,AMG 的方形後擾流翼配置,能提供一定下壓力與穩定車尾氣流。

車室空間的部分,主要格局其實還是讓人感到熟悉,包含了雙 12.3 吋儀表所組成的全數位座艙,但採用雙層式設計的多功能方向盤、中央鞍座處的觸控手寫版等,則是與小改款前明顯差異之處;因應 E-Class 小改款的節奏,包含 Mercedes-AMG 車型上標配、原廠稱為雙肋式設計的功能方向盤在內,全車系都採用了新的多功能方向盤配置,而車載系統則換上了 MBUX 系統,讓 E 63 4Matic+同樣也能使用語音功能,來進行諸多功能的設定與調整。

車室空間基本上仍就是維持與小改款前相同格局,主要不同之處在於全新的多功能方向盤設計,以及中央鞍座的觸控手寫版配置。
台灣賓士導入國內市場的小改款 E-Class 戰力規劃中,原廠稱之為雙肋式設計的多功能方向盤,乃是 Mercedes-AMG 的專屬配置。

在動力單元部分,小改款 Mercedes-AMG E 63 系列維持與小改款前相同,皆為 4.0 升 V8 雙渦輪增壓引擎,在此次導入的 E 63 4Matic+車型上,有著 571 匹最大馬力、76.5 公斤米最大扭力的動力輸出,變速系統仍舊是 AMG Speedshift MCT 9 速變速箱;如果是性能更強悍的 E 63 S 4Matic+,動力輸出則會來到 612 匹最大馬力,以及 86.7 公斤米最大扭力的輸出。W213 世代的 Mercedes-AMG E-Class 在導入國內之初,首波乃是先行推出 E 63 S 4Matic+,隨後才追加推出 E 63 4Matic+,在 19/20 年式時則僅保留了 E 63 4Matic+。而進入小改款後,首波則僅推出 E 63 4Matic+版本,後續是否會追加推出 612 匹的「S」版本,目前尚未有確切資訊。

Mercedes-AMG E-Class 的 63 系列,皆搭載了 4.0 升 V8 雙渦輪增壓引擎,首波導入國內的 E 63 4Matic+維持與小改款前相同,同樣是 571 匹最大馬力與 76.5 公斤米扭力,靜止到時速 100 公里的加速,仍舊維持在 3.5 秒的水準。

小改款 Mercedes-AMG E 63 4Matic+還有兩項與小改款前不同之處,分別是制動系統升級,以及提供了 AMG Dynamic Plus 的選配;台灣賓士在新聞稿中提到,因應 E 63 4Matic+的性能表現,其標配了 AMG 高性能煞車系統,採用前 6 活塞煞車卡鉗、後酖活塞浮動卡鉗,前後軸皆為 360mm 之碟盤,卡鉗皆為銀色塗裝並有著 AMG 字樣,如果選配了 AMG Dynamic Plus 套件,還會升級 AMG 紅色煞車卡鉗 (包含前 390 mm、後 360 mm 的加大碟盤),讓制動能力更為提升。

至於提供為選配的 AMG Dynamic Plus 套件,此一套件說得直接一點,就是讓 E 63 4Matic+車主可以選配「甩尾模式」,套件內容包含有 AMG 方向盤操控按鈕、以及前面有提到過的 AMG 紅色煞車卡鉗 ,最重要的就是「Race 賽道模式含 Drift Mode 甩尾模式」;E 63 4Matic+標配了 AMG Performance 4Matic+主動式四輪驅動,系統會針對前後軸扭力進行主動分配,前軸扭力分配調整範圍為 0 至 50% ,後軸則可達 100%的扭力分配,而在選配 AMG Dynamic Plus 套件後,則能調節至後輪驅動甩尾模式。

原本 Mercedes-AMG 針對 63 與 53 戰力的規劃,乃是將 AMG Dynamic Plus 套件列為 63 S 車型上的標配,並未開放予其他成員選配,而在小改款後則提供 53 與 63 車型選配,也就是說 E 53 4Matic+與 E 63 4Matic+,也都能夠選配「甩尾模式」了。

事實上此一功能並非新穎科技,在小改款前就已經出現在頂規的 E 63 S 4Matic+車型上,也就是標配有 AMG Dynamic Plus 套件,但並未開放給 E 63 4Matic+或者是 E 53 4Matic+選配,在小改款後才開放給予所有 63 與 53 車型選配,提供車主更豐厚的駕馭樂趣。

In August, Porsche announced the facelifted Panamera Turbo was the fastest “executive car” as it lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7:29.81.

That record has now fallen as the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4MATIC+ is the “fastest luxury class vehicle on the Nordschleife.”

According to Mercedes, the record was beaten by development engineer Demian Schaffert who posted “officially measured and notary-certified” times of 7:23.009 and 7:27.800 minutes. Both those are faster than the Panamera Turbo and it means the GT 63 S 4MATIC+ has “regained the crown in this class after only three months.”

Mercedes went on to say the car was “completely standard,” but well equipped for the task as it has a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that pumps out 630 hp (470 kW / 639 PS) and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of torque. Backed up by a nine-speed gearbox and a performance-oriented all-wheel drive system, the car can accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.2 seconds before hitting a top speed 196 mph (315 km/h).

Besides the almighty engine, the record breaking car was equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2 tires and an aerodynamics package. Both are optional on the GT 63 S 4MATIC+ and they help the model to achieve its full performance potential.

Following the record breaking lap, Schaffert said “Even though I’ve been accompanying our GT 63 through its development for several years now, it’s always impressive to see the wide spread we have been able to achieve with this exclusive vehicle.” He added the model has a dual personality as it’s comfortable and equipped with intelligent safety features, but also offers “extremely high level of driving dynamics and precision.”

While most automakers only give one lap time, Mercedes noted prior to 2019 lap times were based on a distance of 12.8 miles (20.6 km). However, an official lap was established last year and it’s 761.2 feet (232 meters) longer at 12.9 miles (20.832 km). By providing both times, you can see how the GT 63 S 4MATIC+ stacks up to modern competitors as well as those from the past.

Rezvani has taken the wraps off their new Hercules 6×6, which is being billed as the “god of all trucks.”

Apparently based on the Jeep Gladiator, the model follows in the footsteps of the Rezvani Tank but adopts an 8 foot (2,438 mm) bed and four rear wheels.

The truck has also been equipped with a roof-mounted LED light bar, a unique rear end, and sculptured metal sport bars which are available in a variety of finishes including the bronze seen here. Other highlights include customizable wheels that are wrapped in 37-inch off-road tires.

While the exterior is pretty interesting, the cabin is little more than a dressed up Jeep. That being said, the Hercules 6×6 features an aftermarket Alpine infotainment system with a 9-inch display as well as Apple CarPlay compatibility. Customers can also order a Napa Leather package that includes premium leather seats and a suede headliner.

Under the hood, there’s a variety of engine options including familiar a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with 285 hp (213 kW / 289 PS) and 260 lb-ft (353 Nm) of torque. Customers can also opt for a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 which pumps out 260 hp (194 kW) and 442 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque.

Fans seeking something more exotic can opt for a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 with 500 hp (373 kW / 507 PS). If that’s not enough, the company will offer a “highly upgraded” version of the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 that powered the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon.

According to Rezvani, the engine is bored out to displace 7.0 liters and then equipped with new pistons, a camshaft and a forged stroker crank. Thanks to these changes, the supercharged V8 will reportedly produce more than 1,300 hp (969 kW / 1,318 PS) and 989 lb-ft (1,341 Nm) of torque.

The first three engines will be offered with either an eight-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission. However, the supercharged 7.0-liter V8 is only available with an eight-speed automatic gearbox sourced from the Ram 1500 TRX.

Regardless of which powertrain is selected, all come with an on-demand six-wheel-drive system. It enables owners to switch between 6×2, 6×4 and 6×6 drive.

Speaking of performance, the Hercules 6×6 has been outfitted with a Fox racing suspension and Dana 60 axles which feature air lockers.

If the standard model isn’t interesting enough, there’s a Military Edition which features Kevlar armor, bulletproof glass, run flat tires, a self-sealing fuel tank, underbody blast protection and electro-magnetic pulse protection. The model also sports “ram bumpers,” a reinforced suspension, electrified door handles and a smoke screen system.

Other highlights include a thermal night vision system, an intercom, gas masks and “blinding” lights to hamper the visibility of would-be attackers. To cap things off, the Military Edition also includes hypothermia and first aid kits.

Pricing starts at $225,000 and climbs to $325,000 for the Military Edition. However, the options are outrageous as the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 costs $40,000 while the supercharged 7.0-liter V8 retails for $249,000 – that’s on top of the prices listed above, so the latter, costs from $474,000! In case you want to pretend spending your money on a Hercules 6×6, Rezvani has even made a configurator where you can go and customize it.
