Audi’s Q4 e-tron duo of electric crossovers has been spotted once again, and this latest sighting offers us a look at the cabin for the first time.

The Q4 e-tron crossover and its Sportback crossover coupe sibling were spotted undergoing testing in Germany covered with the same amount of camouflage as before. Mind you, the full-body wraps cannot hide the fact the production models will look quite similar to the 2019 Q4 e-tron Concept and 2020 Q4 Sportback e-tron Sportback Concept.

Moving on to the interior, there’s a lot of camouflage inside these prototypes too, but the photos do shed light on the digital instrument cluster, big central screen, and the steering wheel that looks borrowed from the bigger Audi e-tron and e-tron Sportback.

Mind you, one prototype features a different steering wheel that looks identical with the one from the Q4 e-tron concepts. Other similarities to the concepts include the shape of the center console and the driver-oriented center screen.

The Audi Q4 e-tron and Q4 e-tron Sportback are underpinned by the same MEB platform as the VW ID.4 and Skoda Enyaq iV. This means we can expect three batteries and five outputs. Base variants are expected to be RWD and feature a single 109 kW (146 HP / 148 PS) rear motor attached to a 55 kWh battery.

When Audi revealed the Q4 e-tron Concept, it mentioned an 82 kWh battery powering two electric motors producing a combined 302 HP (225 kW / 306 PS). This powertrain is expected to equip the range-topping models offering a maximum driving range of around 450 km (279 miles) WLTP.

The Q4 e-tron is expected to launch in early 2021, with the Q4 e-tron Sportback likely arriving later in the year. Both models will be built alongside the VW ID.4 at the Zwickau plant in Germany.

Ariel isn’t the only automaker crossing the Atlantic as Ginetta has established a new North American headquarters in Virginia and announced plans to build the G55 GTA there.

Billed as an “entry-level, cost-effective and easy to operate GT track car,” the G55 starts at $99,950 and is a key-turn racer which features a Ford-sourced 3.7-liter V6.

The engine produces 270 hp (201 kW / 274 PS) and is connected to a six-speed sequential transmission with paddle shifters. It’s feed 93 octane fuel from a 15 gallon cell mounted in the back of the car.

Other highlights include a power steering system, a race-tuned suspension and a high-performance braking system. The G55 also sports 20-inch wheels which are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. While they were originally intended for street use, Ginetta said they offer exceptional grip and are “massively” more affordable than track-only tires.

Given the model’s purpose, it’s not surprising to learn the interior is pretty basic. That being said, it features a flat-bottomed steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, air conditioning and a passenger seat.

An assortment of options are available including a carbon fiber package, different seats, and a VBox HD data and video system. Customers can also order different wheels and tires as well as an air jack system and livery design services.

To become a better driver, Ginetta offers a winter development program in Spain as well as one-on-one development packages with LMP1 factory drivers. Buyers can also opt for track day and testing packages which include technical support as well as driver coaching.

Once people “graduate from track day enthusiasts to entry-level GT racer,” they can join an optional race series which is described as the “ideal proving ground to break into professional motorsport in a welcoming, competitive and cost-effective environment.”

According to Ginetta North America President Mark Swain, “Ginetta is known for its offering of GT cars used in multiple one-marque series throughout Europe, as well as running at the pinnacle of sports car racing with an LMP1 in the WEC series, but now for the first time, we’re putting down roots in the USA.” He added, “With the launch of our North American headquarters, American drivers are going to get new access to cars, first of which, the newly released G55 GTA, in addition to parts, service, and technical support to ensure our drivers are looked after.”

戰鬥民族果然不一樣!去年12月,一名俄羅斯YouTuber「Igor Moroz 」因為自己的賓士G63老是修不好,經銷商還在車輛保固期內拒絕修復部分故障,於是他雇用直升機把G63吊到半空,然後將車摔成廢鐵;近期,又有一名俄羅斯網紅也透過毀掉愛車來表示抗議,不過這次他選擇用燒毀的方式,而且苦主竟是帥氣的四門量產房車 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S。

這位俄羅斯網紅名叫 Mikhail Litvin,據了解在他入手這輛黑色 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 後不久,車子就時常故障,而他多次往返維修中心,但是卻無法排除問題解決故障,甚至有將車子留廠卻未做任何檢查的狀況,因此才使他產生了這個「火燒車」的念頭。

從影片中我們可以看到Mikhail Litvin 將 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 開往一大片空曠的草地,接著從後車廂拿出好幾桶汽油淋在車身及草地上,一路淋到距離車子幾公尺外便直接機點火,而他則在遠處吃著烤香腸。過程中也穿插許多和這輛賓士的回憶,過不久,這台奢華、霸氣的Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S就被燒毀成一塊破銅爛鐵。

最後Mikhail Litvin還坐上一台老舊的汽車旁,透過友人的推動和協助才得以啟動離開現場,實在諷刺。而這段影片才PO上網路至今(2020年11月11日)不到一個月,觀看人數已經破1700萬人次,賓士AMG GT 63 S在俄羅斯售價為1,272萬俄羅斯盧布(約新台幣475萬元),不知道該說原來他們這麼好賺還是戰鬥民族真的很兇悍(汗)。
