一年一度、對於國人來說堪稱最重要、同時也是最長連續假期的農曆春節又即將到來!在這長達7天的難得連假之中,相信也一定會有許多家庭團聚在一起、圍爐團圓、走春拜年,全家大小共同出遊!

當然,無論平常上下班是否經常開車/騎車,趁著這難得的春節長假,相信也應該會有許多人決定開車/騎車上路。也因此,春節長假也通常會迎來難以避免的交通壅塞高峰期!而許多人同時擠在同一時段開車/騎車上路的結果,當然就是免不了會發生大小不一的交通狀況/事故囉!

依據高速公路局統計,歷年春節的平均單日事故件數、肇事率均高於平時!ARTC車輛中心「防禦駕駛」教練鍾國良經理,也因此特別提醒駕駛人,在車流量較大的情況下一定要特別注意:(1)保持安全距離。(2)注意車前狀態。(3)不要任意變換車道等。若由於駕駛人的一時心急搶快,意外也往往就此發生,若因此造成傷亡,反而會得不償失。

另外,春節期間也適逢寒假、大學學測結束,青少年騎車結伴出遊的機率因此大增。而「車速過快再加上路況不熟,是假期常見的機車意外事故原因」。再加上一群人在興奮出遊的情緒感染下,很容易降低對周遭危險的感知意識,而不經意地作出例如併行嬉鬧、超速、競速、蛇行等危險或錯誤的騎乘方式。此時若車速過快,一旦發生突發狀況,反應不及,所造成的損傷將更為嚴重。

有鑑於此,機車族也一定要同時建立「安全駕駛」與「防禦駕駛」的用路態度!除了應作到遵守交通規則的「安全駕駛」,也建議要有2個自保的防禦駕駛觀念:

(1)            常時開大燈:指的是機車大燈常時開著,或使用有晝(日)行燈的機車!

很多人以為開大燈只有照明功用,其實在交通上,「你看到我、我看到你」是最基本的安全守則(很多事故都是源自於「沒有看到對方」)。所以,機車常時開大燈的目的是「讓別人更易發覺機車的所處位置,也比較不會誤判機車速度」。機車常時開大燈也能在其它情境下成為避免發生事故的關鍵,例如車燈透過他車後視鏡反光或彎道的凸面鏡,亮點更為明顯,有助突顯我車位置,從而降低發生意外的機率。因此,建議騎士在機車一發動後,大燈同步開啟,是很重要的第一步。(法規已規定,從106年上市的新款機車強制配置晝行燈)

(2)            預作煞車:指的是鬆油門,並操作煞車拉桿(踏板)到車子微有煞車力!

一般而言,汽/機車駕駛人從發覺狀況、鬆油門、操作煞車到車子有足夠煞車力,大約需要1秒鐘時間(因人車而異),而預作煞車可以當作是先做了一部分動作;相對於沒鬆油門或只鬆油門沒操作煞車,多了一個時間差,當發生緊急狀況時,這短短的時間差就可能發揮關鍵作用。

若這時間差以0.5秒來算,假設機車的速度50km/h(相當於每秒14公尺),即意謂機車將可能因為有預作煞車而提早7公尺就停下來,成為避免撞車的一個距離。若仍不幸發生撞擊,也會因機車已提早減速而大幅減緩發生撞擊的傷害程度。另根據國外研究結果,對於一個沒有外殼保護的行人或騎士在30km/h 與50km/h發生撞擊的致死率,分別約10%與80%。由此可見,控制車速的重要性,而「預作煞車」就是機車族在行經路口時的重要防禦守則!

The very first 2021 Ford GT with the available Studio Collection package has been unveiled by the car manufacturer.

Previewed back in August 2020 alongside the 2021 GT Heritage Edition, the Studio Collection packages provides customers with a host of new options to choose from to transform the look of their vehicle. Most notably, the Studio Collection includes a graphics package spawned through a collaboration between Ford Performance and Multimatic.

The example showcased by Ford is painted Shadow Black and has then been adorned with a plethora of Competition Orange accents. These include a racing stripe stretching over the hood, roof, and rear of the mid-engined supercar, as well as additional orange accents along the roofline and around the side air intakes. The car is also sitting on black wheels and sports red brake calipers.

Ford is offering just 20 examples of the GT Studio Collection model for the 2021 model year and a further 20 units for 2022. Customers can choose from seven standard colors or if they’re willing to stretch their budget, can explore an extended palette with more choices.

The Blue Oval hasn’t revealed how much extra it costs to purchase a GT through the Studio Collection compared a ‘normal’ example. However, we suspect that it is cheaper than ordering a Heritage Edition variant that includes distinctive 20-inch forged aluminum wheels with a Heritage Gold finish, a special graphics package, and a host of interior updates including red Alcantara sport seats and anodized red paddle shifters.

After a rather lengthy teaser campaign during which Audi allowed certain journos to check out the e-tron GT first-hand, Ingolstadt is finally ready to pull the covers off their interpretation of a sports electric sedan.

The four-door coupe will premiere today, at 1:00 p.m. ET (7:00 p.m. CET), and if you want to watch the live presentation, then you have come to the right place, with the video shared below.

Previewed by the e-tron GT Concept at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show, the 2022 e-tron GT is essentially a sister model to the Porsche Taycan being derived from the same building blocks. Even with the trick skin wrap, it’s easy to tell that the e-tron is a sexy looking EV that will no doubt draw attention to itself on the road. It also has a stylish cockpit, bathed in fine materials and is equipped with all the latest technology gea.

Audi will launch two different versions of the e-Tron GT, including an RS model, which will sit at the top of the range, becoming the brand’s first EV to wear the performance moniker. It will have a dual-motor set-up, with 637 HP (646 PS / 475 kW) on OverBoost, and 612 lb-ft (830 Nm) of torque, all-wheel drive with torque vectoring, all-wheel steering, and uprated brakes. The 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration will reportedly take less than 3.5 seconds, while top speed will be limited to 155 mph (250 km/h).

The automaker has not revealed the driving range yet, but we expect a WLTP highway range rating of 250 miles (~400 km) or more with equivalent charging times to the Porsche Taycan than can achieve a 100% charge in around nine hours, or a quick charge that’s good for about 62 miles (100 k)  in as fast as 5 minutes.
