進入電動時代,許多車廠紛紛推出電動車款,就連豪華品牌也不例外,日前外媒《Motor1 Turkiye》針對3款剛好台灣都有賣的電動車進行400公尺、1,000公尺直線衝刺速度比較,分別是《Tesla Model X》、《Audi e-tron》及《Jaguar I-Pace》。

【影片在此】根據影片我們可以看到,除了靜止起跑以外,還有讓這三款車型進行動態起跑和煞停距離的測試。在最一開始的靜止起跑中,Model X 佔據相當大的優勢,從一開始就領先到最後也率先抵達終點線,I-Pace緊追在後,e-tron則是最後抵達;至於動態起跑的部分,則由I-Pace遙遙領先;最後的130km/h煞停測試,可明顯看出I-Pace距離最短,e-tron則是位於中間,而Model X距離最長。

Porsche will further venture into the electric segment with yet another model: the Taycan Cross Turismo.

A Shooting Brake version of the regular Taycan with an increased ground clearance, it will officially debut today at 10 a.m. ET (4:00 p.m. CET), and the unveiling, which will feature CEO Oliver Blume, VP Model Line Stefan Weckbach and Brand Ambassador Aksel Lund Svindal, will be streamed live.

The jacked-up electric car, which boasts height-adjustable suspension, all-wheel drive and an exclusive driving mode that optimizes its dynamics on gravel, will allow it to tackle bumpy roads better than its four-door sibling. It’s not a full-blown off-roader, obviously, but a practical electric executive estate with superior comfort for rear passengers compared to the regular Taycan, and a bigger cargo area behind the seats that’s accessible via the large tailgate.

All versions with have a dual-motor setup with a two-speed transmission. The entry-level Cross Turismo 4 puts out 375 HP and 469 HP with Overboost and launch control engaged. The 4S offers up to 562 HP on Oversboost, or 482 HP without it. The most agile models will be the Turbo and Turbo S, with 670 and 750 HP respectively when using the Overboost function.

The Taycan Cross Turismo will start arriving at dealers later this year, and it will likely cost a bit more than the equivalent sedan.

General Motors has extended its pause on production at various plants around the world because of the ongoing global semiconductor shortage.

The Detroit News reports that the company is extending the downtime through to the end of March at its San Luis Potosi plant in Mexico, which is responsible for building the Chevrolet Equinox and Trax and the GMC Terrain. It will also extend the downtime at its Fairfax, Kansas plant that builds the Cadillac XT4 and Chevrolet Malibu until at least mid-April, and alter production at the CAMI plant in Ontario that builds the Chevrolet Equinox until at least mid-March.

It’s not just North American plants that are impacted by the alterations to production as the Gravatai plant in Brazil where the Chevrolet Onix and Onix Plus are built will also take downtime in April and May.

General Motors intends on making up for lost production later in the year but it remains to be seen if that will be possible given the nature of the shortage.

HIS Markit researchers believe the chip shortage will hit its bottom at the end of March but supplies will remain tight into the third quarter. The shortage is tipped to cost the automotive industry nearly 1 million units of production in the first quarter alone.

GM is trying to minimize the impact of the shortage on its most popular full-size truck and SUV models and therefore won’t alter their production.
