After announcing that it would depart Formula 1 as an engine supplier at the end of 2021, Honda continues to exit the motorsport arena, withdrawing manufacturer support from Team Dynamics and the British Touring Car Championship. The parting of ways sees the severing of a partnership that spanned 17 years.

The pairing of Honda and Team Dynamics has been one of the most successful in the history of the BTCC. Together they took home 14 manufacturer and team championship titles and six drivers championships.

Starting in 2004, Team Dynamics ran The EP3 Honda Civic Type R. For 2005, they petitioned the championship to allow cars that weren’t sold in the UK to be allowed on the grid. This saw them field the hugely successful Honda Integra (aka the Acura RSX), a car that was not available at UK Honda dealerships. It paid off, with Matt Neal clinching the 2005 and 2006 drivers’ titles.

Following the Integra, Team Dynamics ran multiple Civics, including a one-off season of a Civic Tourer (estate) in 2014. The Civic Tourer became the first-ever estate car to win a round of the BTCC.

Honda’s departure from the BTCC coincides with the winding down of their Swindon plant. The facility, which used to manufacture multiple models for the UK and Europe, will cease operations later this year.

Team Dynamics will continue to run the FK8 Type R for the 2021 season, albeit as an independent team. “Honda UK would like to thank everyone at Team Dynamics for the last 17 years of racing, fun, and success”, commented Olivia Dunn, Head of Communications at Honda UK.

Matt Neal, who won three championships thanks to the partnership and is the director of Team Dynamics, said: “We have been the most successful team in Honda’s history of touring car championships, which we are incredibly proud of. While we are very sad to see Honda go, we would like to thank them for the last 17 years of support and professional friendship.”


早在今年1月底就已經公布預售價的小改款Tiguan,今日 (3/19)台灣福斯汽車透過新聞稿宣布280 TSI車型率先上市,除了原本規劃中的280 TSI Elegance車型外,另外還追加一款接單生產的280 TSI Life車型壓低入手門檻,其中280 TSI Elegance的建議售價較預售價減少3萬元訂在129.8萬元,280 TSI Life車型則比改款前便宜10萬元、跟280 TSI Comfort車型一樣訂在109.8萬元。

除了率先上市、即將於4月1日起進駐全台指定授權展示中心的280 TSI車型,台灣福斯汽車也同步公布330 TSI Elegance Premium、380 TSI R-Line Performance車型以及Tiguan R的預售價,依序訂在153.8萬元、180.8萬元、205.8萬元,預計今年4月中下旬就會正式發表。

根據目前掌握到的規格配備,小改款Tiguan自280 TSI Life車型開始即標配7具SRS氣囊和基本的IQ.Drive智能駕駛輔助系統,包含全速域ACC主動式固定車距巡航系統、Front Assist車前碰撞預警系統 (含AEB自動輔助緊急煞車功能)、前方行人監控系統、疲勞駕駛警示系統、後方輔助停車煞車功能、PDC前後停車導引系統、MCB二次碰撞預煞系統。到了280 TSI Elegance以上車型則是將IQ.Drive智能駕駛輔助系統升級至Level 2等級,額外提供車側盲點警示系統等、車道維持及偏移警示系統、主動式車道修正輔助系統、主動乘員防護系統 (前方及後方偵測)、RTA後方橫向車流警示系統 (含煞車輔助功能)、緊急待援輔助系統、顯影式停車導引系統、360度環景顯示 (含3D畫面輔助功能)、自動停車輔助系統、AFS動態彎道輔助照明。

外觀方面,小改款Tiguan除了重新修飾細部設計外,還新增全新車色「星輝閻夜藍」、「星砂海豚灰」與「星際月岩灰」,LED頭尾燈也是全車系標配,但280 TSI Elegance以上車型首度搭載IQ.Light智慧燈組:LED Matrix矩陣式頭燈,280 TSI Life車型則是採用LED遠近光頭燈;另外280 TSI Elegance車型還配備全天候照明燈 (附角落照明功能)、18吋Nizza輪圈,電動收折後視鏡也多了記憶功能。

內裝區域,小改款Tiguan導入數位化座艙設計,全面配備第三代MIB模組化資訊娛樂系統搭配Soft Key全平面虛擬按鍵/手勢控制功能,再加上原廠中文導航系統、App-Connect多媒體手機鏡射 (含Android Auto與無線Apple CarPlay),但280 TSI Elegance以上車型更提供10.25吋全邏輯數位化儀表,連Harman/Kardon環繞音響系統和擁有30色彩變化的車室氛圍燈都列入配備清單。

小改款Tiguan導入數位化座艙設計,全面配備第三代MIB模組化資訊娛樂系統搭配Soft Key全平面虛擬按鍵/手勢控制功能。

此外,280 TSI Elegance車型採用運動型真皮座椅,並額外加入駕駛座多向電動調整附記憶功能、駕駛座電動腰靠調整、雙前座加熱功能,280 TSI Life車型則是採用標準型織布座椅,但已經標配同級少見的觸控式三區電子恆溫空調 (後座出風口含電子溫控面板)。

動力部分,兩款280 TSI車型均搭載全新1.5升TSI四缸渦輪汽油引擎,可繳出150匹最大馬力和25.5公斤米最大扭力,內建的ACT主動式汽缸休止管理系統則能在動力需求較低的行駛狀況下,於1,400至4,000轉的轉速範圍內與最高時速130km/h之下,自動關閉兩個汽缸的汽門機構並暫停供油,進而有效提升引擎燃燒效率10%,並利用OPF微粒過濾器抑制NOx氮氧化物排放,同步降低油料消耗和碳排放。

兩款280 TSI車型均搭載全新1.5升TSI四缸渦輪汽油引擎,可繳出150匹最大馬力和25.5公斤米最大扭力。

至於還未上市的330 TSI Elegance Premium、380 TSI R-Line Performance車型以及Tiguan R,則是搭載2.0升四缸渦輪汽油引擎,其中330 TSI的最大輸出設定在190匹、32.6公斤米,比改款前多了10匹馬力;380 TSI的最大輸出則是設定在245匹、37.7公斤米,不僅優於改款前的220匹、35.7公斤米,輸出水平更是達到GTI等級。

值得一提的是,小改款之後所追加的Tiguan R車型,同樣也準備進軍台灣市場搶攻性能休旅級距,其搭載的2.0升四缸渦輪汽油引擎屬於高輸出版本,最大馬力可達到320匹,最大扭力亦來到42.8公斤米,輔以7速DSG雙離合器自手排變速箱與4Motion四輪傳動系統,原廠公布0-100km/h加速只需4.9秒,極速則是上看250km/h,目前同級中並無對手能夠與之匹敵。

Tiguan R搭載的2.0升四缸渦輪汽油引擎屬於高輸出版本,最大馬力可達到320匹,最大扭力亦來到42.8公斤米。

最後,台灣福斯汽車趁著280 TSI上市還特別針對280TSI Elegance車型推出外觀套裝上市優惠,只要3萬元 (工資另計)即可升級原價近6.5萬元的Premium套件 (此為為台灣福斯授權經銷商售服套件,需訂購後回廠安裝),包含鍍鉻水箱護罩、前保桿飾板和後保桿鍍鉻等細部套件,同時也強調Tiguan全車系適用4年新車品質保固與長里程彈性保養概念,最長二年或最多3萬公里才需回廠進行機油更換保養,可以有效減輕消費者擁車成本。

One of the hottest upgrades available for the latest Audi RS6 Avant comes from MTM in the form of modified turbochargers, new software, and other tweaked and new parts.

The result is a jaw-dropping 1,001 horsepower and 921 pound-feet (1,250 Nm) of torque produced by the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8, a 410 HP and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) improvement over the stock executive super estate.

With the aftermarket parts up and running, the tuned RS6 Avant, which boasts original Bugatti Veyron levels of power, does the 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration in just 2.9 seconds, down from 3.6 seconds of the stock car. It can hit the 124 mph (200 km/h) mark in 8.6 seconds and has a top speed in excess of 217 mph (350 km/h), up from the standard model’s 190 mph (305 km/h).

Straight-line performance is one thing; a track test is a completely different story, and in this case, MTM’s insanely powerful RS6 was unleashed at the Hockenheim GP by SportAuto, posting an unofficial lap time of 1:53.40. But what does that actually mean? Well, it was quicker than the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 (1:53.90) and Taycan Turbo (1:54.10). It also managed to beat the BMW M5 Competition (1:54.20), Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 (1:54.60) and Audi R8 V10 Spyder Performance (1:55.20).

Despite its very impressive performance, though, the tuned super estate couldn’t beat some pretty serious machinery around the track, coming behind the likes of the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S (1:52.80), Porsche 991.2 Turbo S (1:50.00), Lamborghini Aventador SVJ (1:47.30) and McLaren 765LT (1:46.20).
