Ford’s 2021 F-150 full size pickup is set to arrive in dealerships nationwide this week, with initial sales having already occurred in the Midwest. According to Ford, the number of retail orders placed is at an all-time high.

The F-150, part of Ford’s F-Series pickups, has been America’s best-selling vehicle 38 years in a row, while the F-Series stands as the nation’s best-selling pickup for the 43rd straight year.

Novelties for 2021 include best-in-class available towing and available payload capacity, as well as the only full hybrid powertrain available in a pickup – with 430 HP plus the ability to function as a mobile generator with Pro Power Onboard (up to 7.2 kW of electrical output available).

“Customer sold orders are up over 210 percent from a year ago November, and dealer orders for stock are more than double the current production schedule,” said Ford marketing and sales VP, Mark LaNeve. “It’s apparent that this F-150 is something that our customers both want and need.”

The all-new F-150 also comes with an available Interior Work Surface and an available Tailgate Work Surface. Furthermore, every model in the range is equipped with Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking as standard, while the available Active Drive Assist Prep Kit for hands-free highway driving is expected to arrive next fall.

Dealers are thrilled about the new model too, with Tim Hovic, owner own San Tan Ford in Phoenix stating: “I’ve been selling Fords for 28 years, and I’ve never seen my staff this excited about a vehicle launch. The F-150 is the gold standard of trucks.”

Mini has just unveiled a limited-run variant of the Countryman dubbed the Boardwalk. The British car manufacturer says it “is as equipped for the challenges of everyday life as it is for spontaneous excursions beyond the city limits and adventures on unpaved terrain.”

Adorning the exterior of the car is a Deep Laguna metallic paint scheme with black across the wheel arches, front bumper, side skirts, wing mirrors, roof, and 19-inch wheels. The name refers to the promenades of traditional seaside resorts in the UK. With this in mind, the Mini Countryman Boardwalk includes a unique model badge inspired by the wooden beams traditionally laid horizontally and diagonally along these promenades.

In the cabin, there are Boardwalk logos on the side sills and dashboard to give the car a unique touch. Various options from lesser Countryman models are also included, including the Interior Pack and Mini Excitement Pack that includes mood lighting, illuminated handles and external logo projections on the mirrors. There is also a digital gauge cluster and an 8.8-inch display, Apple CarPlay, real-time traffic information and various app-based services as part of the Navigation Pack.

Standard equipment also include the Mini Yours Leather and Comfort Plus Pack that bring heated seats, floor mats, park assist, front parking sensors and front and rear-view cameras.

The Mini Countryman Boardwalk is available with either a three-cylinder petrol engine producing 136 hp or a four-cylinder petrol with 178 hp.

Jaguar is commemorating the 60th anniversary of the iconic E-Type with the launch of the F-Type Heritage 60 Edition. Production will be capped at just 60 units worldwide and it will be available in both Coupe and Convertible body styles.

Immediately making the F-Type Heritage 60 Edition stand out from other models is the unique Sherwood Green paint that hasn’t been offered on a new Jaguar since the 1960s. The custom touches continue with exclusive diamond-turned gloss black 20-inch forged alloy wheels, black brake calipers, and unique exterior badging.

The British car manufacturer has also worked on the interior, where there is a bespoke aluminum console finish inspired by the E-Type’s rear-view mirror casing and an E-Type 60th anniversary logo embossed on the headrests. Further adding to the appeal of the special F-Type are commemorative treadplates, an SV Bespoke commissioning plaque and Caraway-edged carpet mats.

“Celebrating 60 years of the iconic Jaguar E-type is the perfect moment to create our first-ever SV Bespoke limited edition – and the rarest F-TYPE, with just 60 cars available globally,” commercial director of Jaguar SV Bespoke, Mark Turner, said. “We’ve worked closely with Jaguar Design to develop a theme for the F-TYPE Heritage 60 Edition that pays homage to the E-type in a contemporary way. It’s testament to Jaguar’s sports car design lineage that the 1960s Sherwood Green colour looks as though it was designed for today’s F-TYPE.”

The limited-run Jag is based on the F-Type R, which means it is powered by a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 churning out 567 hp. UK prices start from £122,500 ($163,869).
