The Renault Zoe has managed to beat every other electric model in the market so far and is the best-selling EV in Europe year-to-date.

According to the numbers posted by the French automaker, the zero-emission supermini accounted for over 84,000 units from January to November 2020, almost twice as many compared to the same period of last year.

The Zoe was also the best-selling electric passenger vehicle in Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal. Ever since production started back in 2012, Renault has managed to shift more than 268,000 units of the model in Europe.

Almost one third of the electric vans sold in the Old Continent year-to-date was a Kangoo Z.E., so Renault also holds the crown for the best-selling electric light commercial vehicle (LCV), with 8,498 units. 57,595 units have been sold since the Kangoo Z.E. was launched in Europe 10 years ago.

In addition to the Zoe and Kangoo Z.E., Renault’s zero-emission portfolio also includes the tiny Twizy and the Master Z.E. van with a payload of up to 3.5 tons (7,716 lbs).

In other Renault related news, the automaker wants to reinvent the compact hatchback with the introduction of a new vehicle next year, which was previewed by the Megane eVision Concept and will rival the likes of the Volkswagen ID.3.

Based on the CMF-EV platform, shared with the Nissan Ariya, the concept uses an electric motor that generates 217 HP and 221 lb-ft (300 Nm) of torque. It’s powered by a 60 kWh battery that supports fast charging of up to 130 kW and can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in less than 8 seconds from a standstill.

As one of the best sports coupes on the market, the 2020 Audi RS5 does not really need any aftermarket mods.

Still, ABT Sportsline would beg to differ, so they have tuned it, making it more powerful and a bit flashier without going OTT.

Mechanical upgrades over the stock RS5 Coupe include an air intake cover, additional water radiator kit and AEC high-tech control unit. These have helped boost the power and torque of the twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 by 80 PS (79 HP / 59 kW) and 80 Nm (59 lb-ft), to 530 PS (523 HP / 390 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft).

The 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint is down by 0.3 seconds, to 3.6 seconds, and on cars fitted with the factory ceramic brakes top speed can be increased from 280 km/h (174 mph), when ordered with the optional RS Dynamic package, to 300 km/h (186 mph).

Working together with the ABT front and rear anti-roll bars to improve handling, the height-adjustable springs can lower the ground clearance by 25 mm (1 in) while still leaving room under the arches for the 21-inch wheels. Finished in Racing Gold Matte in this case, the concave rims contrast the Sonoma Green Metallic paint finish.

Exterior changes are modest and they consist of carbon fiber fender badges with a glossy finish, wheelhouse ventilation in shiny black and new boot lid spoiler.

ABT’s integrated entrance lights project the tuner’s logo onto the ground upon opening the doors. Other mods include the carbon fiber seat shells and frames, carbon fiber trim on the dashboard, steering wheel and gearshift knob, CRP inserts and fine leather upholstery.

We don’t envy the job of tow truck drivers and based on some long-running reality television shows about the profession, such as Operation Repo, we are sure they often have to deal with some very disagreeable people, to put it mildly. However, not even that can excuse the tow truck driver in question.

This clip was recently posted up to YouTube and has since been shared on Reddit, where it has generated quite a lot of interest. It was filmed on I-95 in Philadelphia and shows a Cadillac and a Lincoln MKC being towed in a dangerous manner.

For starters, the black Cadillac can be seen on the bed of the tow truck. Nothing unusual about that. What is unusual is the fact that the Lincoln MKC has been hitched onto the rear of the truck and is being dragged behind.

It’s not all that unusual to see a car being towed behind a truck like this, but ordinarily, it is not the drive wheels that are touching the ground (unless an axle lock is being used). The MKC is, of course, all-wheel drive and towing it with the rear wheels rolling along the road is a surefire way to wreck the all-wheel drive system. As if that wasn’t careless enough, the Lincoln was being towed on its rims as the tires were completely shredded, probably due to the SUV being involved in an accident prior to it being towed.
